Microdosing 101

The most common phrase accompanied with microdosing is “Protocol” but what is a protocol?


Protocols are a predetermined schedule or routine that is used while taking doses…most protocols recommended are generated from early pioneers of the microdosing realm.


Some of these protocols have been used in academic studies as well as in rehabilitation programs. These are socially accepted guidelines and are not the end all be all.


Depending on your desired outcome of the regimen there are a few protocols we can recommend. Take a look at the ones below and you may find one that suits your needs.


Please take in mind that your protocol should not exceed more than 90 days. It is very important that you allow yourself a break. Continuing a prolonged protocol will extremely dampen the effects and may cause more harm than good.


Depending on your selected schedule. We recommend taking a month off between protocols, 2 weeks at the minimum!



The Do’s and The Dont’s

Do - take your micro first thing in the morning on an empty stomach. Liquids are fine. Coffee we would recommend after you start feeling your micro.


Dont - Take your micro at night or in the middle of the evening. The compounds in the medicine have the ability to alter your circadian rhythm.


But if you’re trying to stay up all night and party without feeling like crap in the morning this definitely becomes a “DO”


Do - Nourish your body with something fresh and healthy, we recommend this for both micros and macros. You just put your mind through the ringer, now its time to refuel and recover.


Dont - Take your micro on a full stomach, especially if you consumed a good amount of protein. Protein takes a good amount of time for your body to digest, consuming a micro after will create a delayed reaction.


Do - Have fun. As your body starts getting used to the medicine you will start to find a new joy in things, new ideas, new needs, a new perspective. Just go with it. Start Journaling your ideas and how you feel. The more you write things down the more things will happen. It is probably the easiest form of manifesting.


Dont - Keep living in the past and repeating your old cycles. Be more vigilant and aware of what’s affecting you and holding you back. Let go of all this. You started microdosing for a reason and its because you care about yourself and want to be better.


Do - Listen to your body. If you find yourself antsy and restless during your protocol try getting up and moving, take a walk outside - it may even turn into a run. Get active, listen to music, make music. Lift some heavy things, make something delicious. Your body wants to move. So go out and rediscover the world.


Dont - Continue your protocol if you aren’t in the right set of mind, it is okay to be down but these medicines can magnify emotions and thoughts, Good and Bad. Please take this in mind and if you ever need any help. Please feel free to reach out to us.
